Bio
Jim McMahon is a 24-year-old Actor based in New York. He received his BFA in Acting at Syracuse University in 2024. Jim is a witty, goofy, and friendly guy with wonderful comedic and dramatic acting instincts. He is detail-oriented, collaborative, and creative.
Recent projects
In addition to co-running his department's improv comedy group, Galactic Chug in 2023/2024, recent projects include: If We Really Were Witches at Tank NYC, and Valley Shakespeare Festival's As You Like It and Much Ado About Nothing.
Upcoming project: If We Really Were Witches is going to the Edinburgh Fringe Festival in the month of August 2026! Jim will play the roles of John Thomas, Suds, and Humility.
Jim has also been writing and developing his own projects, including a short film and an anthology of short plays, intending to produce them in NYC. He has also begun Improv classes at the Brooklyn Comedy Collective.
